Project Overview

Because the company intended to expand, Rajved required a website that would appeal not only to existing consumers but also to others who were considering starting their own franchises.

Discovery

Rajved contacted WebOwize to develop an e-commerce application for the distribution of Ayurvedic products. The main difficulty was that the previous website was difficult to use for both customers and company workers and the purchase process was not well-suited. Additionally, the website had an outdated design and was not mobile-friendly which caused difficulty for visitors trying to conduct research and make a purchase using their mobile devices.

The UX Strategy

We concentrated on building an effective user experience and visual strategy for the e-commerce application, focusing on three critical aspects: browsing until checkout, the checkout funnel, and integration of the lease management system. We made improvements to the search function, organization of information, design of the details page, and calls to action to provide a more pleasant shopping experience. We simplified the application process and made it easy for the client to make the first payment on their lease by including a progress bar that communicated the required information and allowing the customer to sign the leasing agreement without exiting the checkout flow. We also devised a solution to transfer data from the checkout flow into the management system to input the data.

Response

We refreshed and updated the brand’s aesthetic, making it lighter and brighter, using legible and approachable typefaces, and altering brand colors. We increased the size of the type and added more white space for easier reading. We also integrated with Rajved to more effectively coordinate the Ayurvedic goods, integrated eSign for easier checkout process, and transmitted orders to Rajved for delivery. The website was developed with flexibility to accommodate expansion in the future and enable easy configuration of new franchisees and locations as the company grows.

Conclusion

Despite the fact that this was a project that provided its own unique set of obstacles, we are really pleased with how everything ultimately ended out. Rajved can feel safe in the knowledge that they are providing an experience that will please not only their customers but also their franchisees now that they have a platform that will continue to serve them for many years to come.
